A mechanic offshore once told me "Everyone offshore is a failure. If they were good at what they did, they would do it onshore." I do not agree but that comment always stuck in my head. I have seen tough grown men with tears in their eyes because the Rig they had worked on for years was leaving to go to another country and they could not go with it.
